30 years ago, in 1995, Bolton School took over the lease of Patterdale Hall as a residential base for Outdoor Learning. Then 20 years later, in 2014, Bolton School purchased Patterdale Hall from NTYMCA and set about refurbishment.
- Enjoy tours of the centre and facilities
- Take part in a scavenger hunt, orienteering and archery
- Cheer on the ducks in our Charity Duck Race!
- Bring your own picnic and enjoy in the grounds
SCHEDULE
- Arrive from 11am
- 11.30am Guided Walk to Lanty’s Tarn
- 1..30pm Duck Race in Grisedale Beck
- 2.45pm Afternoon Tea
- 3pm official opening of challenge wall and archery area
- Finally, prize giving, celebratory speeches and awards.

Take part in our Sponsored Duck Race to raise money for the Friends of Patterdale Hall and Patterdale MRT.
Prizes for first 10 Ducks to finish.
