30 years ago, in 1995, Bolton School took over the lease of Patterdale Hall as permanent residential base for Outdoor Learning. Then 20 years later, in 2014, Bolton School purchased Patterdale Hall from NTYMCA and began its refurbishment.
- Enjoy tours of the centre and facilities
- Take part drop-in activity sessions including in a scavenger hunt, orienteering and archery
- Cheer on the ducks in our Charity Duck Race!
- Bring your own picnic and blanket and enjoy in the grounds
SCHEDULE
- Arrive from 11am
- 11am-1pm Drop-In Activity Sessions
- 11.30am Guided Walk to Lanty’s Tarn
- 1.30pm Duck Race in Grisedale Beck
- 2.15pm Official opening of challenge wall and archery area, celebratory speeches and awards.
- 3pm Refreshments – Team and Cake
- Finally, Duck Race winner Announcement!
